Annual Increment Rule

  • Annual increment = 3% of current basic pay
  • Granted on 1st January of every year
  • Rounded to nearest multiple of 100
  • Stagnation increment after reaching maximum of level

How to Read the Matrix

  • Find your pay Level from appointment order
  • Start at Cell 1 (joining pay)
  • Each year, move down one cell (3% increment)
  • On promotion, move to next level ≥ current pay
