BPSC CCE (Combined Competitive Examination) selects candidates for various Group A and B administrative and police services in Bihar state government. It is equivalent to UPSC CSE at the state level.

What is the BPSC salary? +

BPSC selected officers are placed in Bihar State Pay Level 9–12 (₹53,100–₹1,12,400 basic). DSP, BDO etc. earn ₹60,000–₹90,000/month in-hand with state allowances.

Is Hindi mandatory in BPSC Mains? +

Yes. BPSC Mains Paper-I is General Hindi (qualifying nature, 100 marks, need 30% to pass). It tests grammar, essay, and comprehension in Hindi. Answers in Mains GS papers can be written in Hindi or English.
